Ronda is a Physical Therapist Assistant and Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Myofascial Release Therapy. Ronda spent her first 10 years in Miami in the banking world before seeking her passion in helping people heal through massage and body work. She graduated in 2008 from Acupuncture and Massage College, where she later served as Clinical Instructor. Ronda has been fortunate enough to work and learn from some of the most talented & kind therapists in Miami. Through those relationships and mentor-ships, her talents continued to grow and propel her pursue a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated from Miami Dade College in 2017, having served as her class Vice President and Teaching Assistant, and began her Pilates Instructor coursework shortly after.
As a teenager, Ronda fell & injured her back and struggled with back pain over the years. She didn’t really discover sports until her mid to late 20’s when she found Martial Arts and was hooked! Since that door opened, Ronda has been a martial artist, runner, cyclist, rower, yogi and kettle bell slinger to name a few and has acquired many injuries along the way. While in a martial arts class, Ronda suffered a shoulder injury and received Pilates based rehabilitation which opened a new level of curiosity and desire to learn. Ronda discovered through Pilates, the deficits in her core strength that other sports/movement didn’t readily demonstrate. The combination of quality movement and bodywork felt like a match made in heaven to her and she thrives on seeing her patients and clients get those same “Ah-ha moments”.
Ronda is passionate about community service. Now that her daughter is off to college and her son is in the Army, she dedicates many hours with charities that serve the needs of children, such as Kristi House, Lotus House and Our Kids. She loves to cook/bake and will often get inspired to make up new dishes on the fly. A true lover of the outdoors, you can often find her and her Vizsla taking walks and making new friends in the Grove.
