In real life, we are a high-end, boutique Pilates studio and 1-on-1 physical therapy clinic. We have two locations in South Miami that have been operating since 2007.

Online, we offer multiple LIVE classes per day, 7 days per week, and pre-recorded classes for those that want to learn at their own pace. In both cases, all classes are taught by the same amazing instructors you’ll read about below.

Christa’s reputation is renowned in the South Florida market. She is an orthopedic physical therapist specializing in Pilates-based fitness, rehab and injury prevention, and she is highly respected and recognized among the Pilates and physical therapy communities.

Her contagious energy and passion has gained her a clientele of both local fitness enthusiasts and high-profile athletes, including Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra, WNBA veteran Ruth Riley, pro volleyball player Kelly Schumacher, and pro golfers Cristie Kerr and Natalie Gulbis.

All of our instructors are certified through the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP). In fact, most of them board-certified doctors of Physical Therapy as well!

What’s so special about the NPCP certification? Unlike other “certifications,” this can’t be achieved in a weekend at a hotel conference room. No, our certified instructors have gone through 450 hours of hands-on training in addition to coursework, assignments, and final exams given through individually approved Pilates schools or mentors.

And if that’s not enough, they’re all avid practitioners of sport in their personal lives too. Whether it’s Crossfit, yoga, dance, martial arts, or stand-up paddleboarding, our instructors all live and breathe healthy lifestyles and relate to your specific needs.

What’s needed?

Not much at all. In fact, you really only need an internet connection.

For equipment, if you have a mat, that’s great. If not, maybe just a large beach towel or a blanket. Every now and then we might use some small weights, but if you don’t have any, water jugs, milk jugs, or any other “heavy” household object will work!

Who are these classes for?

These classes are suited for all levels and abilities except for those who are pregnant or suffering from injury. We recommend consulting your medical professional prior to beginning any exercise program.

Class 1 – Intermediate Mat Class
(45 minutes)

This is a perfect introduction to Pilates at home. It fits right in the middle of skill level so if you’re just starting out, it’s easy to scale back, and if you’re already a Pilates practitioner, you know how to kick it up a notch.

Class 2 – Move Better
(50 minutes)

Working from home can really make you feel stiff and sore. Especially when you’re not able to move as much as normal. This Stiff and Sore Relief Class is taught by Physical Therapist Christa Gurka and is sure to have you moving and feeling better.
