New Class Announcement: KINSTRETCH

Pilates In The Grove is excited to announce a new class, KINSTRETCH! We will be offering KINSTRETCH at our Coconut Grove location Mondays at 6:00pm. To kick off this amazing class we are hosting 2 FREE classes for YOU to check them out. Save the dates for Monday, August 27 at 6:00 and September 10 at 6:00 (both at the Coconut Grove location).

What exactly is KINSTRETCH?

KINSTRETCH is a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and USABLE ranges of motion. KINSTRETCH practice is complete with a self-assessment system allowing you the ability to monitor your own body for dysfunction that may be causing pain, loss of performance, or that may be putting you at an increased chance of injury. Learn how to gain, maintain and restore full usable ranges of motion to every joint throughout the body in this class. If you have had any joint replacement or spinal fusion surgeries please let us know!

KINSTRETCH has three main goals:

  1. Functional mobility: joint strength and neuromuscular (body) control
  2. Articular Resilience: increase joint load bearing capacity, leading to greater resilience to injuries.
  3. Articular Health: improve overall joint health and longevity

In KINSTRETCH, we train to do anything, to prepare the body for whatever life throws at it!

This new class will be taught by our KINSTRETCH expert, Zach Deckelbaum. Zach’s deep curiosity for movement fuels his passion for coaching. Graduating with a degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware, Zach’s early years as a trainer were formed by lacrosse and weightlifting. After spending four years as a personal trainer and group strength and conditioning coach, Zach became a FRC mobility specialist and KINSTRETCH instructor. KINSTRETCH is a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion. Zach’s coaching philosophy is simple: with movement control and confidence, anyone can be an athlete.
